About Your Home Inspector

You've heard it before: "Buying or selling a home is among the greatest of stressors in our lives". Whether it is your first or tenth time buying or selling a home, it doesn't seem to get any easier.

Over the years, I've experienced first hand the problems that come from home ownership; the expensive, hidden issues within a home, questionable repairs or installations from even more questionable contractors, and navigating the home buying, selling, and insuring of a home.
Because of these experiences, many of which you and I have in common, I formed Sighthound Home Inspections, LLC...

What We Inspect and Why

A home inspection is a visual examination of the home's major structure, systems, and components that are visible and safely accessible. Buying a home is typically the biggest investment you will ever make, so it's important to get a home inspection because the inspector can find and document defects that may or may not be obvious to you as a prospective buyer.  Such defects can range from simple replacements or repairs to severe damage or safety and health concerns.
